Her career in the industry has excelled greatly.

In April 2015, she made the decision to pursue her passion for music.
Sophia,s dedication has seen her working along side some of the industries most talented and well recognised artists.

She began her journey in the industry by taking part in a DJ competition, and made it through to the final taking 2nd.
From this she was approached and asked to play at one of the top clubs in London ‘EGG’.
Following this, Sophia Essel gained sets at ‘Fire, London’ for the popular event ‘Tribal sessions’ and ‘Ministry of Sound’.

In May 2016 she gave up her life in the UK to pursue her dream as a DJ

June 2016 , she decided to fly to Ibiza for the season to check out the music scene and after only 2 weeks in her first season she had 2 residencies at Es Paradis & Viva.

Sophia Essel played at Eden and ran her own events which is a huge achievement.
Since then she has taken it upon herself to be recognised by working hard and networking with a passion.

By July she was a resident for EXIT at Sankeys every Monday and has excelled even more gaining massive support from the workers in Ibiza .
Having also warmed up for Jess Glynn at Ibiza Rocks Hotel, Sophia Essel feels very fortunate for all opportunities that have arisen for her since the season began.

In August 2016, she proudly headlined ‘Liverpool Gay Pride’ , extremely grateful for this opportunity as she supports the gay community in any way possible, so to be able to headline for such a huge event was personally an honourable achievement.

In September Sophia was also nominated in the Ibiza Clubbing Guide Awards Grass Roots Category.

Sophia Essel also produces her own music, providing the freshest and latest sounds in house . Having only been producing less than 6 months, she is already signed with 2 popular labels and making waves. 4 released tracks are currently on iTunes and Beatport and is set to release more early summer 2017
